Marie, I recently enjoyed a vacation in Ireland, and guess what I got to do, among all of the family celebrations I participated in, read "Lavender Fields". What a wonderful book, I felt I could relate first hand to the incidents, having grown up in Ireland. Thank you so much for making this possible. Can't wait for the next one, keep up the good work.

Hello Marie,I am Gloria's sister in law in Oklahoma. I thank you so much for signing the book she sent me. I just ordered {The Cart Full of Holly} and I hope it gets here before Aug. 10th. I am going to NYC and it will be the perfect read for on the plane. I had been reading about slavery in the 1700 and 1800's when I got your book. I like reading something light after some of the hard topics I sometimes read. After my trip I have 2 books on vietnam that are waiting for me. If I where to change anything in the book {Lavender Fields} it would be the foul words. The book would still be good, the story would still be the same. It would be a wounderful read for any christain women. Thank you again for signing my copy and to Gloria for sending it to me. My husband and I are thinking about coming out to CA this fall. I am hoping I might get to meet you. I am happy to see you are going to e-books. I have a nook and will buy your books that way. Have a great summer and don't stop writting.

I recently read about you in the Kingsburg Recorder. I had hoped to attend your Book Signing at the Winery but had other obligations that day. I was pleased to see your books at Dianne's one Saturday morning while having breakfast. I purchased both of your books and I loved both of them! I decided to buy your books for several reasons: you are local and I like to support local things: you are from Ireland and I also loved the title of both of your books. My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Ireland a few summers ago. Ireland is so beautiful! It was so amazing to be driving in the countryside and see castle ruins. As you have learned from living in the US we just don't have anything like that here. I want to encourage you to continue writing, Valerie

I just finished reading "Lavender Fields" and it was great! So heartwarming and touching! Nora was a wonderfully developed character and I could really relate to the struggles that Kate went through as a new mom. I hope to read another of your books soon!
