I have read both books and I think Marie is such a sweet writer! She is able to bring the characters to life with such heart felt emotion, very like Meave Binchey only better. I really enjoyed Lavender Fields and I literally could not wait to get back to it, it was filled with such goodness and wonder. It was fantastic. Thank you,

Lavender Fields is a simply beautiful warm story where I was transported into the lives of the characters. I felt I could smell the lavender all through the story. It's a real gem, well done!

Lavender Fields :was a lovely warm story, gentle read. I felt I was in the fields with Nora. The characters in the book were normal down to earth people. I could not put the book down. I am looking forward to reading her next book.

Ruth Tobin Janurary 11/01/2012 Hi Marie, I enjoyed reading the Lavender Fields. I found it very descriptive, I could almost smell the lavender. It was a simple story which was told so well it lured me into the life of the characters. I was disappointed when it ended.

Marie, I recently enjoyed a vacation in Ireland, and guess what I got to do, among all of the family celebrations I participated in, read "Lavender Fields". What a wonderful book, I felt I could relate first hand to the incidents, having grown up in Ireland. Thank you so much for making this possible. Can't wait for the next one, keep up the good work.
